Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team in Georgetown, Texas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing essential financial tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accurate and timely payments.

Oversee accounts receivable functions, including revenue tracking and collections.

Accurately code invoices and input them into the accounting system.

Review vendor information and statements for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain detailed financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Collaborate with team members to support auditing and billing processes.

Monitor and manage financial data for non-profit operations.

Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and maintain positive relationships.

Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation as needed. Requirements - Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools.

Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Experience with invoice coding and financial data entry.

Knowledge of auditing and billing functions.

Familiarity with non-profit accounting principles.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.
