As a Front Desk Officer at a leading healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for employees, patients, and visitors, providing a welcoming presence and clear communication. You will support security-related operations by managing access control, verifying credentials, issuing badges, monitoring cameras and alarms, and documenting activity. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.

Manage access control at the reception area by greeting visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and directing guests to the appropriate destination per site policy.

Monitor alarms, cameras, and communications equipment from the front desk, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.

Maintain accurate logs and reports of visitor activity, incidents, and shift events, and communicate key information during shift turnovers.

Support screening and check-in processes as required by the location, including confirming appointments and following established procedures for prohibited items and/or restricted areas.

Provide security-related assistance with lost and found, access issues, and after-hours entry requests in accordance with site-specific policies.

Assist with crowd control and line management at the reception area during peak arrival times, and help to maintain orderly lobby operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
