Job Title: Construction Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Construction Technician to assist in building a project in Lenoir, NC. We are looking for versatile individuals who can handle a variety of tasks on-site, ensuring the smooth progression of this large-scale project.

Responsibilities

Perform basic carpentry tasks.

Set up barriers and erect tents as needed.

Transport and move materials around the jobsite.

Maintain cleanliness through sweeping and general cleanup.

Assist leads with various tasks and follow directions promptly.

Engage in basic mechanical duties as required.

Essential Skills

Experience in general labor and construction.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Basic carpentry skills.

Ability to read a tape measurer.

Strong communication skills to take direction effectively.

Great attitude and adaptability to diverse tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous construction experience preferred.

Capability to pressure wash and perform material transport.

Flexibility to work some Saturdays if needed.

Work Environment

The jobsite spans over 200 acres, requiring collaboration with both general contractors and subcontractors. Work hours are Monday through Friday, with 10-hour days and some Saturday requirements. Professionalism is crucial as this is a high-profile site with a prestigious client.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Ridgeville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
