Job Description

This position involves delivering a full range of products and services including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificates, IRAs, revocable trust, and estate accounts. The role also involves lending products and credit/debit card services. The candidate will perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision and provide assistance and training to lower-level team members.

Responsibilities

Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts and loans.

Assist members with submitting consumer, mortgage, equity loan, overdraft protection, and credit card applications.

Counsel current and prospective members about products and services.

Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly.

Identify opportunities to cross-service products and increase product penetration.

Perform platform banking functions.

Assist level I team members.

Understand and comply with federal and other regulations relating to financial products and services.

May assist with Branch Office vault opening, closing, and balancing procedures.

May serve as a Branch Office and/or ATM vault custodian.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in customer service and inbound call center operations.

Experience in banking and finance.

Strong data entry skills.

Competency in Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment

The role occasionally requires escorting members to and from the branch in an outdoor setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Alexandria, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
