Description We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join a government office in Youngstown, Ohio. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dedicated team while developing valuable skills in an administrative setting. The role requires onsite work and involves regular weekday hours.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and edit detailed reports and documents with precision and attention to formatting.

Provide courteous and efficient customer service to both visitors and phone callers.

Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including filing, organizing, and scheduling.

Manage data entry tasks to ensure information is accurate and up to date.

Assist with receptionist duties, such as greeting guests and handling inquiries.

Support office operations by coordinating communication and documentation.

Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.

Collaborate with team members to complete assigned projects in a timely manner.

Maintain office supplies inventory and ensure workspaces are well-organized.

Generate correspondence and presentations using Microsoft Office tools as needed. Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Ability to @type at a minimum speed of 50-60 words per minute.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.

Prior experience in customer service or administrative support roles is preferred.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.

Capacity to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a government office environment.
