NORTHEAST DELTA HUMAN SERVICES AUTHORITY MISSION:
Serve as a catalyst for individuals with mental health, developmental disabilities, and addictive disorders to help them realize their full human potential by offering quality, excellent care with greater accessibility.
Northeast Delta Human Services Authority is seeking anAdministrative Coordinator 3-4 to work as part of a treatment team to provide quality care and reduce the stigma surrounding behavioral health (mental health or substance use) and physical health treatment. The incumbent independently performs duties requiring a broad knowledge of several clerical fields to assist the administrative team with all assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Establishes fees for new consumers and updates fee information as needed/required in accordance with agency guidelines. Enters information in electronic health record related to income, benefits, and dependents. Moreover, this role will reassess and update fees when necessary and obtain necessary information and proof of verification to update charts.
Completes verification of insurance benefits daily and assists team with problem issues concerning insurance verification.
Verifies and documents Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance coverages; this will include scanning insurance cards into the electronic health record. This role also assists with the process of accepting payments, documenting on daily cash log and making deposits when other staff are unavailable.
Independently composes letters/emails to answer routine correspondence, as well as screens mail and telephone calls, disseminating to appropriate staff. This role also assists with scheduling appointments for both new and established consumers, completes phone calls related to upcoming appointments for both new and established consumers and completes phone calls related to upcoming appointments. Provides front desk coverage when absence of staff occurs or on a rotating basis.
Keeps all consumer records current suing LDH policy for open/closed cases which includes strict adherence to policies of related to criteria for services, confidentiality/disposal of records, etc.
Assists consumers with completing the Medicaid applications process. Assists with processes of maintaining and submitting state vehicle logs and voter's registration documentation.
Completes inventories of supplies and assists Property Control Manager with maintaining inventory of all movable property and assists in conducting and certifying annual property inventory.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, Demotion, Lateral Transfer, or Detail to Special Duty
Location: Monroe Behavior Health Clinic
Compensation: NEDHSA is a designated approved National He alth Service Corps (NHSC) site. Clinicians who work at NHSC-approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program to pay off student loans.
2-year Full-Time Clinical Practice: NHSC will pay up to $50,000* for an initial 2 years of full-time clinical practice to clinicians.
(Full-time clinical practice is defined as no less than 40 hours per week, for a minimum of 45 weeks per year.)
Career Progression: As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as an Administrative Coordinator 3 or an Administrative Coordinator 4 depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant(s).
