Job Description
Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in support of one of our major technology clients in the Bay Area. The ideal individual will be a proactive self-starter who is able to take the initiative, and drive activates with limited supervision.
The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing and coordinating multiple concurrent tenant improvement construction projects, ideally within the technology and/or hospitality sector with knowledge of culinary design and construction.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, managing deliverables and expectations.
Can analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
Ensure application of best practice on all projects.
Production of formal project status reports and dashboard updates as required.
Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are applied correctly.
Lead proactive communication with end users regarding construction activities, mitigating impacts and minimizing operational disruptions.
Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications.
Forecast and update key project milestones.
Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria.
Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders.
Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers.
Client management - assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities.
Strategic Thinking - provides advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients' objectives and business objectives.
Knowledge management - ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project is captured.
Process improvement - Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes
SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or applicable bachelor's degree and or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience.
Strong organizational and management skills - the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.
Effective presentation skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools.
Excellent communication skills.
Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $140K-$170 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. ?Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
