As a Security Officer - Unarmed Manufacturing Patrols in Santa Clara, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor and observe the premises for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.

Communicate with site personnel and visitors in a professional manner while providing assistance and information as needed.

Document all activities, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.

Assist with access control, verifying credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

A valid guard card or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
