Manager of
Information Technology - Logistic Center will be responsible for leading a team
that processes and supplies the computer equipment used by Delta Air Lines
worldwide. This includes receiving, storing,
staging, kitting, shipping, disposal, and asset management of the equipment. This position interacts extensively with the
equipment ordering team, Project Coordination, Hardware Certification, Network,
Finance, Supply Chain Management, Airport Customer Service, and other IT
teams. The position is based at the
Delta Forest Park Logistics Center.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
IN THIS ROLE
Manage a largeorganization
Partner withappropriate IT teams to deliver all funded project initiatives related toField Operations
Ensureestablished incident metrics and service levels are met and look forimprovement opportunities
Responsible fordevelopment and execution of both the operating and capital plans andresponsible for achieving those financial objectives.
Manage servicerequests to established service levels (Inventory, staging, and shipping)
Leads throughdemonstration of Delta's core values as outlined in the Rules of the Road.
Responsible forproviding leadership to direct reports supporting teams and the operation.
Developsstrategic plans which includes strategy development, plan development andexecution.
Communicate acompelling view of the IT organization's purpose and values in a way thathelps others understand the importance and impact of their contributions
Work with teammembers to develop specific behaviors, technical/soft skills or knowledgeneeded to ensure sustained performance and to prepare for success in newresponsibilities

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
5+ years of ITmanagement leadership experience
5+ years ofexperience with logistics and a warehouse environment
5+ years ofexperience with Asset Management
5+ years ofexperience with Service Now or equivalent Service Management tool
5+ years ofexperience with a computer staging center
3+ years ofexperience with Excel
Ability to beeffective in a high pressure environment
Availability totravel up to 20% of the time both domestically and internationally
Extensiveleadership experience in managing complex projects within cross functionalteams
Experiencemanaging and executing multiple priorities in a timely manner
Exemplify aworld class competitive mindset for implementing continuous improvementmethodologies
Excellentleadership skills with experience leading teams and direct reports
Ability toinfluence and drive change at all levels of the organization
Must haveexcellent written and oral communication skills
Able toanticipate roadblocks and plan appropriately to mitigate risks
Able torepresent Delta in the community (government, non-profit agencies, fundraising initiatives).
