What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns, recognizing that working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Monitor access points and restricted areas, verifying credentials and reporting any unusual activity or security-related incidents.

Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal personnel to communicate observations and assist with incident documentation as needed.

Support the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter prohibited activities within the chemical or petrochemical environment.

Remain alert to any hazards or irregularities in the environment, promptly reporting findings to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
