About this Job
The Mission of ELMHS is to provide mental health evaluation, treatment, habilitation, and consultation for adults. Programs include inpatient interventions, jail-based evaluations, supervised group home and residential programs, forensic evaluation, care, custody, and aftercare; intermediate and long-term psychiatric care are in coordination with the total system of care in Louisiana
Division: Within the Warehouse in the Fiscal Department at ELMHS, Located in Jackson, LA
Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System (ELMHS) is seeking a qualified and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the operations and administrative functions of the Warehouse. This is an excellent opportunity to use your expertise in a table, supportive table environment that plays a critical role in mental health care across the region.
Minimum Qualifications
Three years of warehouse experience, or experience in receiving, storing, or distributing supplies or equipment.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for one year of the required experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
In this role, you will:
Direct all aspects of the Jackson Campus warehouse.
Establish inventories, reorder levels, and insure that all stock items are replenished in a timely manner to prevent lapses in supplies to all areas of the facility (multi-treatment and administrative areas).
Monitor all request for supplies to insure that they are filled promptly and accurately.
Develop goals, policies, and procedures for efficient and effective warehouse operations and take corrective action where necessary.
Operate forklifts in order to move stock in and out of the warehouse.
Required to routinely manually lift up to 60 pounds.
Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks and utility vans in order to deliver, household items, personal care items, and direct charge items to all areas of the facility daily.
Pull inventory stock to fill store requisitions submitted for inventory supplies from all departments of the agency for all inventories daily as assigned.
Unload trucks as shipments come in from vendors through utilization of forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
Reconcile items received in the shipments against the specifications of the purchase orders.
Date, stock, and rotate stock in the warehouse, insuring oldest stock is placed in front and is used first.
Insure that all items pulled are as indicated on the store requisition and accurate.
Count supplies during routine inventory periods to insure the availability of updated accurate inventory information.
Maintain a valid, unencumbered Motor Vehicle License
