Job Title: HR Coordinator

Job Description

As an HR Coordinator, you will perform administrative activities supporting the Human Resources organization. You will be involved in various HR areas such as recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and training. Your role will include researching and resolving employee problems, updating HRIS systems, responding to employment verifications, and supporting HR programs.

Responsibilities

Gather, collect, record, track, and verify data and information from multiple sources.

Compile, review, and analyze data.

Use software tools to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations.

Design processes to improve workflow.

Provide data and information to other functional units, projects, and procedures.

Handle various administrative tasks and support employee services and HR programs.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in administrative support, onboarding, and data entry.

Experience in HR administration and support.

Strong skills in Microsoft Office and filing.

Solid HR knowledge and understanding of hiring/staffing processes.

Ability to triage work and employee questions effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education and experience.

Strong internships in human resources, recruiting, administration, or employee relations are considered.

Flexibility and willingness to move between tasks quickly.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of office procedures and ability to work well as part of a team.

Work Environment

This is a fully in-office position with a 9/80 schedule. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and every other Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or off.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Johnstown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
