Summary:

Wingate by Wyndham in Lima, OH, is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Front Desk Clerk & Night Auditor to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding service at the front desk while also performing essential night audit duties. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services: Greet guests with a warm welcome, handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and provide excellent customer service.

Reservations & Communication: Manage room reservations, answer phone calls, and address guest inquiries professionally.

Night Audit Duties: Balance daily transactions, process payments, and generate end-of-day reports to ensure accurate financial records.

Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns and complaints promptly, escalating issues when necessary to management.

Security & Safety: Monitor the property to ensure guest safety and maintain hotel security during overnight shifts.

Housekeeping Coordination: Communicate guest requests and room status updates with the housekeeping team.

General Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, assist with billing, and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or a front desk role preferred but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic math and accounting skills for night audit responsibilities.

Proficiency with hotel management software (training provided).

Ability to work independently and handle overnight shifts.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting.
