Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Southfield, Michigan. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive legal support to attorneys, specializing in litigation, insurance defense, and personal injury cases. This role requires a strong ability to manage case files, coordinate trial preparation, and handle discovery processes effectively.

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with all facets of litigation, including insurance defense and personal injury cases.

Manage discovery processes, including gathering, organizing, and reviewing documents.

Prepare for trials by compiling evidence, drafting legal documents, and coordinating schedules.

Oversee case files to ensure accuracy and timely updates throughout the litigation process.

Utilize case management software to track case progress and maintain organized records.

Conduct legal research to support case strategy and build strong arguments.

Communicate with clients, witnesses, and external parties to gather information and schedule meetings.

Draft correspondence and legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and subpoenas.

Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court requirements and timelines.

Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling and document preparation. Requirements - Proven experience as a Paralegal, ideally in litigation, insurance defense, or personal injury.

Proficiency in managing discovery processes and trial preparation.

Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and legal terminology.

Experience using case management software to maintain organized records.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and legal professionals.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Knowledge of no-fault insurance laws is a plus.
