At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range is $35.94 to $53.91 hourly, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for supporting the Emergency Services leadership team with a wide range of complex duties in support of daily EC clinical operations. The Operations Manager will be responsible for Emergency Center payroll, oversight of day-to-day trauma tech responsibilities, day-to-day scheduling, management of clinical supplies and stocking and inspection of specialty code carts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for weekly payroll for all EC & transportation staff.
Review and approve invoices associated with agency staff.
Monitors, tracks, and reports payroll discrepancies.
Supports management with tardiness/ attendance via reporting.
Identifies and problem solves day-to-day clinical operations including matters related to payroll, scheduling, education, training, supplies, and specialty equipment.
Management of specialty code carts. Maintains intubation carts, EZ-IO kits, Blakemore tube kit, Trauma cart, EVD cart, and arterial line cart.
Responsible for ordering clinical supplies.
Coordinates repairs, modifications to specialty equipment.
Facilitates new equipment acquisition.
Creates new "kits" in partnership with providers as requested.
Works in conjunction with the Chief of Emergency Medicine, Director of Emergency Services, and EC Managers to develop, coordinate, and implement special projects.
Assists with interviews, reviewing applications and resumes for clinical staff.
Assists with setting up and scheduling peer review interviews.
Works with EC managers to keep up-to-date position control for all EC staff.
Weekly eye wash checks.
Participates in the following committees - Resuscitation, Stroke, Trauma Committee Trauma Peer Review Committee, Pediatric Readiness Champion and others as assigned.
Acts as program coordinator for paramedic student programs in the EC.
