Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $119,000.00 - $142,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to manage the Process Design and Improvement Managers while supporting Bank Ops project initiatives. This position will determine the optimal solution and how to implement the solution between non-technical and technical.
Essential Functions
Lead end-to-end project execution for process improvement initiatives, including defining scope, developing business requirements, coordinating resources, and removing impediments through analysis and implementation
Develop and manage complex projects aligned with Bank Operation priorities, including creating repeatable processes, tools, and frameworks, and overseeing timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans
Provide timely project updates and conduct post-project performance evaluations to leadership
Evaluate and document operational processes, identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities, and develop workflow documentation with actionable proposals and implementation recommendations
Support department strategy and workflows by providing guidance on projects, resolving escalations and advising on Bank Operations best practices
Identify and work closely with team members on personal goals and skill development
Collaborate with stakeholders, including front line management, senior leadership, and executive leadership on assignments and addressing needs for the division
Lead, mentor and motivate team members to implement the department strategy and manage department workflow with guidance on departmental projects/issues, and provide coaching and development opportunities appropriate to each direct report's individual needs
Perform all necessary management functions, hiring, evaluations, annual increase allocations and disciplinary guidance as required
Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant information to team members effectively
Support budget management, planning and expenditure
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Strong knowledge of the project management field, including knowledge of best practices
Ability to evaluate operational processes, identify bottlenecks and design actionable solutions that improve efficiency and reduce control gaps
Highly organized with an ability to work independently, and manage multiple tasks and priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to provide transparent and real time feedback to employees and stakeholders
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to apply discretion and sound judgement to efficiently and effectively solve problems
Ability to drive results and balance management of organizational risk and meeting goals of the business
Strong leadership and coaching skills with ability to motivate team members, cultivate teamwork
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company, clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Information Technology, Engineering, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
8+ years project management, strategy, or operations experience required
4+ years leadership/supervisory experience required
Experience with Agile development methodology and working with Agile Teams required
Project Management Training/ Certification (PMP) Preferred
