Job Title: Construction Site Lead / Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Site Lead to organize and lead a crew in a safe and productive manner. This role requires an individual with strong leadership abilities, great interpersonal skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and tidy job site.

Responsibilities

Organize and lead a crew in a safe and productive manner.

Track production and complete paperwork daily.

Maintain a clean and tidy job site.

Lead by example and teach the crew along the way.

Relay production goals to the crew and hold them accountable to meet them.

Work closely with the Site Superintendent.

Follow company policy and procedures.

Essential Skills

5+ years of experience managing a heavy equipment operating crew.

Ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment such as Dozer, Track Hoe, and Grader at the highest level.

Experience with GPS systems (Trimble/TopCon).

Strong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in civil construction and heavy equipment operation.

Familiarity with blueprints and installation procedures.

Proficiency with heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, skid steers, loaders, and track hoes.

Work Environment

Work is local to the Charleston market, so travel is not required. Be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions, including cold and extreme heat. Provide your own PPE, such as boots, vest, hard hat, and gloves. Enjoy a team-oriented atmosphere with opportunities for regular 50-hour work weeks, weather permitting. Safety is a top priority, and we promote a safe work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond Hill, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $32.00/hr.
