Base Rate for this position is $19.91- 32.43/ hour.

This position is eligible for annual bonuses.

Annual Return on Assests Bonus Percentage (ROA) (5 year average) = 20.7% of eligible earnings

All Nucor teammates qualify for profit sharing.

Annual Profit Sharing Bonus Percentage (5 year average) = 20.4% of eligible earnings

Basic Job Functions:

American Buildings - Illinois is seeking qualified applicants for the position of General Receiver.Responsibilities for the General Receiver include but are not limited to:

Safely receiving and staging metal building components, as needed to support production teams.

Supporting all material handling, housekeeping, product flow and schedule efforts.

Operating the machinery and material handling equipment required to perform these functions including, but not limited to forklifts and overhead cranes.

Performing within a group in a way that encourages solid teamwork and a productive work environment.

Communication Skills- The ability to give full attention to what others are saying and communicating so that others will understand.

Judgement/Decision Making- Considering the relative costs and benefits of actions to choose the most appropriate one. Includes considering possible implications and impacts of decisions for teammates and other individuals as well as for the company as a whole.

Dependability- Beingreliable, responsible, and committed to fulfilling obligations with urgency.

Initiative- Willingness and confidence to take on responsibilities and challenges in an optimistic and proactive fashion to include a focus on identifying future needs.

Teamwork- Working as part of a coordinated effort with other departments, divisions and supporting management to achieve a goal.

Preferences:

Prior forklift and/or crane operation experience.

Strong knowledge of logistics.
