Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for applying, tracking and resolving outstanding payments, issues and generate reports in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, generating automatic invoicing, daily cash posting

and reconciliation to Accounts Receivable Master. Communicating with customers regarding

their account and with fellow team members

Our ideal candidate is familiar with all accounting procedures and can manage daily financial transactions end-to-end.

Proven work record maintaining a 40 hours a week schedule.

Responsibilities

Process all forms of payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures

Perform day to day financial transactions. Including verifying , classifying, computing, posting

and recording accounts receivable data.

Generate a monthly A/R report after the 10th Billing. Sort data according amount, date and

customer. Organize calls and delegate as needed based on client and instructions.

Verify discrepancies and resolve client's billing issues.

Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending reminders and contacting clients.

Run recurring revenue to obtain payment and verify information is accurate and posts

to clients accounts.

Identify accounts to be sent to collection, update MK system and communicate with Collection Agency

Active team member with cancellation of an account. Verifying data entry is correct and

follow up with client when required

Qualifications

AS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is required.

Proven working experience as an accounts Receivable clerk or accountant

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles,

Proven ability to calculate, post and reconcile payment detail.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel

Professional communication with customers and team members

Hands-on experience in creating and updating spreadsheets

Ability to create spreadsheets including downloads, data sorts and calculations.

Experience with Micro Key or other full-scale ER Software.

Credit Card processing - Clover or other Credit Card processing software.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
