Material Handling Associate - Warehouse & Inventory

Job Summary

We are hiring a dependable Material Handling Associate to support warehouse and inventory operations in a clean, quiet manufacturing environment. In this role, you will receive and move materials, maintain accurate inventory records, operate forklifts, and support production by ensuring materials are available when needed.

This is a union position offering guaranteed wage increases and long-term stability.

What You'll Do

Receive, store, and issue materials, supplies, tools, and equipment

Maintain accurate inventory records in a warehouse or stockroom environment

Count, sort, weigh, and verify incoming materials

Label materials with identifying codes for tracking

Operate gas and electric forklifts to move materials efficiently

Load and safely operate the stress relieving oven

Perform daily and weekly TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) tasks

Supply production teams with required materials

Complete MRP transactions , including material issues and receipts

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

What We're Looking For

Required:

1+ year of experience in material handling, warehouse, or inventory control

High school diploma or GED

Strong attention to detail and organization

Willingness to learn through on-the-job training

Preferred:

Forklift experience (gas or electric)

Order picking and inventory management experience

Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Familiarity with MRP systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $51125.00 - $54080.00/yr.
