Job Title: Warehouse Installation Technician

Pay Rate: $23.50/hr

Job Type: 3-5 Month Project with the possibility of being hired

Start Date: February 2, 2026

Location: Aurora, IL

Job Description

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Load and unload inbound and outbound freight from vehicles and containers

Perform quality checks on all freight (accurate part numbers, quantities, and pristine condition)

Execute daily inventory cycle counts and process critical spare part orders at the datacenter

Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems

Place server racks on the datacenter floor with laser measuring devices (requires 100% accuracy)

Populate and install electronic components/cabling in server racks per diagrams and schematics

Install rack hardware using various hand, power, and measuring tools

Operate material handling equipment (straddle stackers, rack movers, electric pallet jacks)

Regularly push, pull, and lift items (up to 50 lbs) throughout the workday

Perform area clean-up per 5S safety and cleanliness standards

Cross-train in multiple datacenter departments as required

Deliverables & Achievables:

Daily adherence to safety and process procedures

Punctuality and reliability

High attention to detail and consistent quality focus

Flexibility and willingness to learn new roles within the datacenter

Requirements

Experience with electric pallet jacks (EPJ)

Proficient use of hand tools

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently

Must wear 6-inch composite toe BOOTS (Steel toe boots are acceptable only during training; composite boots required for full assignment)
