Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 1 to support our partnership at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley , a faith-based, not-for-profit healthcare organization that includes a 50-bed hospital and a network of primary care offices and specialty clinics serving Mendocino County. In this role, you will help ensure a clean, safe, and healing environment across a growing healthcare system dedicated to compassionate, community-centered care.

What You'll Do

Oversee daily Environmental Services operations to maintain a consistently clean, safe, and compliant healthcare environment.

Supervise, mentor, and schedule frontline custodial staff, promoting a positive team culture and high-quality service delivery.

Ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory requirements, including infection prevention and safety standards.

Partner with clinical and operational leaders to support service responsiveness, patient satisfaction, and overall operational excellence.

What You Bring

Experience in Environmental Services, Custodial Operations, or related leadership roles-healthcare experience preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead, develop, and motivate frontline teams.

Proven ability to manage priorities, maintain service quality, and meet regulatory expectations in a fast-paced environment.
