Job Title: Welder/Fabricator ($22-30/hr.) (4pm-2:30am) + $3.00 shift diff.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols to fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components according to precise specifications.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols.

Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding as required.

Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components according to specifications.

Set up and operate welding equipment and fabrication machinery.

Inspect completed welds and structures to ensure quality and compliance.

Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.

Follow all company safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

1+ years of hands-on welding experience in a fabrication environment.

Proficient in MIG and TIG welding; Stick welding is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols.

Strong knowledge of metal @types, thicknesses, and behavior under heat.

Familiarity with grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and other tools.

Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

AWS Certification preferred but not required.

High school diploma or GED required; trade school or vocational training is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment includes working independently and as part of a team, with shifts starting from 4 PM to 4 AM. There is a $3 shift differential for the 2nd shift. Be prepared to work 48-55 hours a week. The facility is committed to safety and cleanliness.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Streetsboro, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
