Administrative Coordinator

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team in Chesapeake, Virginia. In this Contract to permanent role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of waste management and emergency response activities across multiple store locations. This position is ideal for candidates with strong organizational skills and a customer-focused mindset, who are eager to build relationships and streamline processes.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate waste and recycling management for stores within assigned states, ensuring effective and timely resolution of issues.

Address and manage building emergencies such as fires, floods, power outages, and weather-related hazards.

Provide support to department managers by assisting with daily facility needs and changes as requested.

Organize and prioritize incoming requests while maintaining accurate records of call history in a Computerized Maintenance Management System.

Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.

Assist with incident cleanup and resolution of plumbing or liquid spill issues.

Monitor and respond to immediate facility concerns to minimize disruptions.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to facility management.

Collaborate with internal teams to optimize operational efficiency. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role or related field.

Proficiency in managing vendor relationships and ensuring service quality.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle urgent requests effectively.

Expertise in Microsoft Excel for organizing and analyzing data.

Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems or similar tools.

Solid organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach to task management.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with vendors and internal teams. TalentMatch®
