Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $16 - $17 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Sales Representative:

A sales representative is a professional who promotes and sells a company's products or services, typically by building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating the value of the company's offerings

They are responsible for driving revenue by identifying potential customers

Generating leads, and closing sales

Job requirements:

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for conveying product benefits, negotiating contracts, and building relationships with customers

Interpersonal Skills:

The ability to connect with people, understand their needs, and build rapport is essential for closing deals and establishing long-term relationships

Sales and Customer Service:

Prior experience in sales or customer service, or even internships or volunteer work in these areas, can be beneficial

Persuasion and Negotiation:

The ability to effectively persuade customers and negotiate deals is a key skill for success

Time Management:

Sales representatives often need to manage their time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Product Knowledge:

A thorough understanding of the products or services being sold is essential for providing accurate information to customers

Self-Motivation and Drive:

Sales representatives need to be self-motivated and driven to achieve their sales goals

Adaptability:

The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and sales techniques is crucial for success

Persistence and Determination:

Sales can be challenging, so persistence and a strong work ethic are essential

Organization:

Keeping track of leads, customer information, and sales targets requires strong organizational skills
