Senior Account Processor

Position OverviewUnder general supervision, follows-up in a timely manner on problem unpaid accounts to facilitate payment from third- party payers. Analyzes self-pay accounts prior to final collection activity.

Compensation Range:

$19.37 - $28.09 per hour, depending on experience

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

High school diploma or equivalent

5 years experience in hospital third-party billing and related practice

A thorough working knowledge of Patient Accounting billing practices Wworking knowledge of the financial software system.

Preferred:

Formal education in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related field.
