Career Accelerator Program - Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist

In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI, and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job.

As a sourcing specialist you will protect TI's supply chain through deep acumen of our current, potential, and future supply base. Responsibilities include:

Develop and implement appropriate sourcing strategies to meet corporate objectives.

Monitor supply market drivers and adjust sourcing strategy to meet future business performance goals.

Ownership of a spend category and its sourcing strategy.

Oversee critical aspects of vendor relationship, including price negotiation, quotations, contracts, yield agreements, service agreements, warranties, rebates, quality measurement, capacity reservation, forecasts, and delivery performance.

Works with global operational teams to resolve issues relating to vendor management or assurance of supply (risk mitigation, business continuity planning).

Work with new product development groups to source next technology need in manufacturing and the latest in IC design.

Leverage our supply chain to innovate new projects within area of specialization.

Leverage TI's supplier performance framework to manage vendor expectations and set goals aligned with business need.

Execute with a strong sense of ownership and urgency with ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking and self-motivating environment.

Analyze and anticipate needs based on market trends.

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations or a related field

Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher

Preferred qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to team and collaborate effectively with people in different functions, countries and cultures
