Job Title: Robotics Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Robotics Technician to perform repairs and upgrades on robots returning from the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong electro-mechanical aptitude and be proficient in electrical wiring and mechanical work on robots. You will be responsible for upgrading and troubleshooting robots to ensure parts and repairs function correctly.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair damaged equipment and robots.

Perform mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.

Assist in the development and selection of diagnostic test and troubleshooting tools, devices, and fixtures.

Assist with the development of test procedures and maintain good housekeeping of tools, equipment, and repair area.

Develop proposals for equipment purchase, maintenance, and operation instructions.

Essential Skills

5+ years of experience in mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.

Ability to read blueprints and complex mechanical drawings.

Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Strong troubleshooting skills in robotics and electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

4 or more years of mechanical assembly experience.

Technician experience in mechanical and electrical fields.

Automotive knowledge is a plus.

Self-motivated and highly organized.

Ability to lift 35 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Understanding of various @types of mechanical and electrical test equipment.

Ability to read and interpret specifications, wiring diagrams, and part prints.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
