Our client, a growing aerospace/defense bearing manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Range: $23

Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

Perform mechanical inspection of parts using various inspection instruments

Interpret engineering drawings, technical literature, and industry standards to ensure quality compliance

Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records

Identify and communicate quality issues to the production team for prompt resolution

Support continuous improvement initiatives through problem-solving techniques such as Six Sigma and FMEA

What's Needed?

High School diploma or equivalent GED

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret quality requirements, procedures, drawings, and standards

Familiarity with ISO9000 or AS9100 quality systems is preferred

Experience with mechanical inspection instruments and basic mathematical concepts

Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
