Aerotek is hiring CNC Operator

2nd Shift will train on 1st shift

Responsibilities

Operate CNC mills effectively.

Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and micrometers.

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Maintain precision with tolerances as low as .0 and sometimes in the negatives.

Change out broken tooling and adjust offsets.

Perform preventative maintenance on machines as needed.

Run and oversee 3 machines simultaneously.

Essential Skills

CNC machining experience.

Familiarity with quality inspection tools like calipers and micrometers.

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance.

Comfortable with blueprints and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

2-3 years of experience operating a machine in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in the medical device sector is a bonus.

Exposure to working with microscopes is a plus.

Swiss machine experience is highly desirable.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, extremely clean medical device facility. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) is essential. The shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
