LRI 304th St. Landfill, a proud Waste Connections company, is seeking a skilled Landfill Gas Technician to join our passionate team in Graham, WA. As an industry leader in environmental sustainability and waste management, we are looking for a forward-thinking, proactive individual who excels both in collaborative team environments and while working independently. This full-time, year-round position provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on landfill gas operations while advancing sustainability initiatives and environmental responsibility. Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with monthly or occasional Saturdays. The starting pay range will be $25.50-$27.00/HR. Key Responsibilities: Operate and Maintain LFG Systems: Manage landfill gascollection systems, including vertical wells, condensate collection,monitoringstations, and pneumatic pumps. Monitor and Optimize: Monitor well fields, perimeter wells,pump stations, and leachate levels regularly to improve collection efficiency. Troubleshoot& Repair: Balanceextractionwells and perform maintenance and minor repairs. System Maintenance: Maintain LFG control plants, flare units, and leachate control systems. Collaboration: Escort andcoordinatewith third-party contractors to ensure smooth operations. Compliance & Reporting: Prepare and submit compliance, operational, and safety reports. Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. 1 to 2 years of experience inindustrial process control, preferably with landfill gascollection systems. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to stand outdoors for up to 10-hour shifts. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Must pass a drug screen and pre-employment background check. Special consideration is given to someone with experience withpneumatic pump troubleshootingand repair.
