Description Coordinates and cares for the patients within assigned department. This position performs a variety of duties that could include: reviewing patient history, greeting and screening patients, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, completing correspondence, preparing and assisting in procedures, completing various statistics and quality improvement. The Medical Assistant is expected to operate within the defined scope of practice of a Medical Assistant as credentialed by the State of Washington. Required qualifications: Completion of medical assistant training program. Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
