Composite Technician - Career Opportunity - San Diego, CA

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Composite Technician to join our dynamic team and collaborate closely with engineers in the production of composite materials.

Responsibilities

Build up, fabricate, cure, and assemble various @types of composite materials under minimal supervision.

Perform tasks in a loud environment using a variety of epoxy agents.

Complete tasks with 80% focus on layup and 20% on assembly.

Work from and interpret engineering drawings and diagrams that may not contain detailed operational information.

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, process sheets, and assembly and schematic drawings.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in working with composite materials and fabrication.

Experience with laser projection and laying down plys.

Competence in production composite layup, lamination, and blueprint interpretation.

1 to 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the aerospace industry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to work independently in a loud environment.

Experience with assembly and interpretation of engineering drawings and diagrams.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poway, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
