General Foreman / Assistant Superintendent (Commercial Construction)

Location: Denver metro area, Colorado Springs, Northern Colorado

Type: Full-Time

We are hiring a hands-on General Foreman / Junior Assistant Superintendent to independently run small commercial new construction projects (schools & multifamily). You will be wearing tools and leading from the field.

Responsibilities

Run daily site operations on commercial new build projects

Structural & foundation concrete work

Manage 5-10 carpenters and subcontractors

Assist with layout, scheduling, and coordination

Read blueprints; use Bluebeam

Lead toolbox talks and enforce jobsite safety

Operate equipment as needed (forklift, skid steer, scissor & boom lifts)

Open and close projects; report to the Superintendent

Expect 50-60 hour work weeks

Qualifications

Experience running small commercial projects independently

Strong commercial structural/foundation concrete experience

Experience working under large commercial General Contractors

Union or non-union experience welcome

Strong leadership and communication skills

Bluebeam & blueprint reading experience required

Preferred (Not Required)

CITC or union apprenticeship

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30

Equipment certifications

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
