As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible throughout the premises to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the area by vehicle as well as on foot. You will also provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with guests and staff, and embody our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.

Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and/or suspicious behavior.

Assist store staff and visitors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site procedures.

Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as required during incidents at the retail location.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
