Quality Engineer - Automation

CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer - Automation position for our client.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: 26 months

Overview:

Quality Engineer with strong automation expertise to design, build, and execute automated testing solutions in a banking/financial services environment. The role focuses on test automation frameworks, API testing, and integration with Agile and DevOps delivery pipelines.

Key Duties:

Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts

Execute automated test suites and analyze results

Perform API and integration testing

Apply combinatorial test design techniques to improve coverage

Support CI/CD and DevOps testing initiatives

Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams

Required Skills:

Banking industry experience

Combinatorial Test Design (IGNITE, Hexawise)

Automation tools: Selenium frameworks, Karate, Postman

Basic SQL for data validation

Java and/or Python

API integration and testing

Experience:

5+ years in QA with a strong focus on test automation

Agile and DevOps environment experience

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
