The incumbent provides human resources management services to employees and managers within the United States Attorney's Office (USAO) in two or more functional areas of personnel, e.g., recruitment and placement, position classification, employee relations and performance management, employee benefits, employee compensation and human resource development. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-9: To be qualified at the GS-9 grade level, you must meet at least ONE of the following conditions, as defined below: Specialized Experience, Education, OR a combination of Education and Experience. Specialized experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in Federal service advising mangers; resolving moderately complex, recurring human resources issues; applying standardized analytical and evaluation techniques; and interpreting regulatory material related to staffing and recruitment and at least one of the following areas: position classification, employee relations and performance management, employee benefits, and human resources development. Education: One of the following @types of education in a closely related field (e.g. Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Leadership, etc...) a Master's or equivalent graduate degree (such as an LL.B.); OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. Combining Education and Experience: I have a combination of specialized experience and graduate education which when combined equal 100% of the requirements. (Only graduate education in excess of 1 full year is creditable. Combining Education and Experience: Combinations of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements. In order to qualify based on a combination, graduate education must be in excess of 2 full years.
