Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and maintaining well-organized financial records. Responsibilities:

Input financial transactions, invoices, and receipts into accounting software with precision.

Organize and maintain financial records, ledgers, and related databases.

Handle accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing, vendor account management, and issuing payments.

Track and report employee travel and entertainment expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Reconcile bank and investment statements to verify accuracy and address discrepancies promptly.

Keep financial filing systems orderly and manage department-related paperwork effectively.

Provide administrative and clerical support to the accounting team, assisting with various tasks as required. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.

Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable processes.

Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience in invoice processing and financial transaction management.

Ability to perform account and bank reconciliations efficiently.

Familiarity with tracking and processing expense reimbursements.

Knowledge of travel expense management and reporting.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed financial records.
