*This position supports the Airworthiness certification of Airbus aircrafts, from new deliveries to in-service repairs and modifications, by ensuring that it complies with the highest global safety and performance standards. Duties include coordinating between our engineering teams and international aviation regulatory bodies, such as the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and other National Aviation Authorities to develop approved certification documentation demonstrating compliance to all designs and regulatory requirements in support of Type Certification (TC), changes to TC and Continued Airworthiness of the fleet. This role requires a deep understanding of aviation regulations and certification processes, and the ability to work collaboratively to ensure our aircraft are safe and compliant across all stages of their lifecycle.
*Autonomously develop and manage certification plans for large aircraft programs, including new design changes and continued/continuing airworthiness. Work closely with a wide range of internal teams, including design engineers, stress analysts, vendors and design office specialists, to gather the data needed for certification.

- Manage multi-ATA and single-program subject projects in accordance with business needs and customers' expectations, while ensuring compliance with certification requirements and DOA processes. *

- Support acceptance of individual aircraft by customers and their local authorities. *
Qualified Experience and Training
*Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical)
*Master’s Degree in an Engineering discipline.

- Minimum nine (9) years experience in Engineering and/or Airworthiness / Certification roles *
*Familiar with large aircraft operations.
*Previous ODA Unit Member, FAA DER, EASA CVE/DAE

*Excellent communication and negotiation skills in challenging situations including those customer facing.

- Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical aircraft topics. *

- Experience complying with regulatory authorities of various countries and distinguishing the similarities and differences. *
