Mission or Purpose: The primary role of the Commercial Administrative Assistant is to provide administration support to commercial lenders, assist commercial bankers in developing SBA applications and loan documents, work with purchased and sold participations and assist in development and maintenance of commercial customer relationships all while protecting private customer and bank information. Nature and Scope: The Commercial Administrative Assistant will typically support one or more commercial lender through loan file maintenance, clerical support, and customer contact, and all commercial lenders with SBA activity and participation loans. Accountabilities: Weight (%) Description 1. Commercial Admin File Administration Maintain loan files that meet the standards set by Loan Review. This includes proper file structure, monitoring client reporting, and assuring all documentation is in the file. 2. Commercial Admin Clerical Support Provide assistance to the lenders in the form of preparing documents, comments, letters, and customer contact in receiving needed information. Input and maintain loan information in systems. 3. Commercial Admin Client Assistance Assist clients in developing a deeper relationship with the Bank through direct contact. Includes cross-selling services and assisting customers with cash management products, remote deposit set-up, ACH, TransFirst Applications, opening and closing of business accounts, and answering questions. 4. Participation Work with Commercial Lenders and Commercial Administrative Assistants in set up of sold and purchased participation loans. 5. Participation Monitor receipt of payments on loan participations and administer roll down on sold participations. 6. Assist the Cash Management Officer with ACH, Remote Deposit and Merchant Processing Products. Duties may include running reports, tracking information, file maintenance and assisting customers with their needs. 7. Professional Development Develop a personal growth plan, which includes continuing education.
