Rate: $55.00 to $50.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Design and maintain test automation frameworks using Java or similar languages.
Test distributed applications across multiple layers of the technology stack.
Validate data and processes using SQL, DB2, and Oracle.
Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices with Maven, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, and Sonar.
Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams using JIRA and XRAY to define stories and acceptance criteria.
Enhance SDLC practices including coding standards, code reviews, and source code management.
Leverage virtual databases or data mock tools such as Delphix and Wire Mock.
Engage with cloud services including Azure and AWS.
Conduct functional and regression testing with appropriate levels of automation.
Identify risks in test automation and develop mitigation plans.
Work independently within Agile Sprint or Kanban teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

5+ years of experience with Java or similar language focused on test automation development.
Proven experience with Cucumber and REST services for test automation.
Hands-on experience with SQL, DB2, and Oracle for data validation.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA and XRAY.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices including Maven, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, and Sonar.
Familiarity with SDLC, coding standards, code reviews, source code management, and build processes.
Understanding of Cobol, VSAM files, batch processing, and IOM on mainframe-based systems.
Experience conducting functional and regression testing in an agile environment.
Ability to interpret business requirements and create clear test stories and acceptance criteria.
Preferred: Experience in financial services including mutual funds, stocks, or managed accounts.
Preferred: Experience with virtual databases such as Delphix or data mock tools like Wire Mock.
Preferred: Exposure to cloud services including Azure and AWS.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with Azure and AWS may be supported by relevant cloud certifications.
