We are seeking a Senior Accountant with general ledger experience to work in our Accounting & Finance department to help with the following:

Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports for segments of the business.

Support accounting operations or complex segments of the general ledger function.

Compile and analyze accounting activities to ensure proper recording of financial transactions.

Review and verify financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.

Coordinate accounting matters across departments, ensuring consistent financial reporting and communication.

Support month-end and year-end close processes, including advanced journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.

Provide technical expertise on complex accounting issues and guide the development of improved accounting systems, methods, and controls.

Support external and internal audits by preparing detailed analyses and documentation.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.

Encourage and enforce safe workplace practices and adherence to company safety policies.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification preferred.

6 or more years of General Ledger experience or public accounting is ideal

Oracle ERP system experience helpful

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and advanced understanding of accounting principles, policies, and procedures.

Strong understanding of currency exchange rates, intercompany accounting, and financial consolidation.

Microsoft Office experience with proficiency in Excel
