Distribution Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Distribution Technician to join our warehouse team. This role is essential to our shipping and receiving operations, focusing on the efficient handling of seed corn shipments, inventory organization, and safe operation of warehouse equipment. Successful candidates will receive on-the-job training and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Receive and unload shipments of seed corn with efficiency

Sort and organize products within the warehouse to maintain inventory flow

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively

Maintain attention to detail and uphold quality standards throughout all tasks

Follow safety protocols and job requirements consistently

Work closely with team members to support a positive and productive environment

Essential Skills

General labor experience

Forklift operation proficiency

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift

Additional Skills & Qualifications

On-the-job training provided

Strong work ethic and reliability

This is a Contract position based out of Ames, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
