Our client, a leading organization in the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Quality Engineer 4 to join their team. As a Quality Engineer 4, you will be an integral part of the Production/Operations department, supporting cross-functional teams in ensuring the highest standards of dimensional and mechanical quality.

Job Title: Quality Engineer (Dimensional and Mechanical Engineering)

Location: 920 Townsend Street Lansing MI 48933

Pay Range: $40 - $45 per hour

What's the Job?

Execute dimensional analysis, validation, and optimization activities for body structures and components.

Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to influence product design and ensure robust dimensional performance.

Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to identify and resolve dimensional issues.

Utilize Process Engineering methodologies to develop and implement dimensional control plans and strategies.

Conduct Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) specifically related to dimensional deviations and implement corrective actions.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in manufacturing-related field or equivalent experience.

Proven experience in automotive body dimensional engineering or a related field.

Excellent people management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Minimum of 4-5 years of dimensional engineering experience.
