Our client, a leading technology services provider, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the Data Center Operations department supporting infrastructure and inventory management teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Center Technician - Inventory and Logistics

Location: Irving, TX

Type: Contract

What's the Job?

Monitor systems for equipment failures or performance errors.

Respond to program error messages by identifying and correcting issues or terminating programs.

Assist programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new programs.

Perform inventory management, cycle audits, and compliance activities.

Execute shipping/receiving processes and manage destruction of data-bearing devices per documented procedures.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma AND 2+ years of experience in warehouse/supply chain within an IT environment or related field.

Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Previous experience working in a data center environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently.

Ability to manage time effectively and handle high-volume work activity.
