The Role
The Senior Analyst, Finance Evolution, will play a critical role in advancing Hyatt's Finance Evolution agenda at the Corporate Office by driving thoughtful, creative, and scalable innovation. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities to modernize finance processes, eliminate low-value manual work, and enable colleagues to focus on higher-value, insight-driven activities that improve decision-making, reduce costs, and enhance hotel-level profitability-ultimately increasing the long-term value of Hyatt's portfolio.
This position serves as a bridge between Finance and Technology, translating business needs into sustainable, well-governed solutions while championing an enterprise-wide "Evolution Mindset."
-Translate identified business needs into clear technical requirements; design, develop, deploy, and support transformative solutions including dashboards, scorecards, and automated workflows
Perform advanced data manipulation and analysis using appropriate tools and platforms such as Alteryx, Tableau, Snowflake, Smartsheet, Power BI, RPA, SAS, SQL, and related data management technologies
-Estimate project scope, effort, and resource requirements; manage timelines and provide clear, regular status updates to stakeholders
-Plan, schedule, and facilitate design and working sessions with Finance leaders and key business partners
-Partner closely with IT and enabling functions (e.g., Financial Systems, ServiceNow, Data & Analytics) to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and best-in-class
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and innovative approaches that drive process efficiency, cost reduction, and cost avoidance
-Maintain a global mindset by designing solutions and knowledge assets that can be shared, reused, and scaled across regions and teams worldwide
-Develop and deliver training, documentation, and post-implementation monitoring to ensure adoption, compliance, and sustained value realization
-Actively encourage adoption of new tools and processes, influencing and supporting colleagues who may be hesitant to change and reinforcing a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Qualifications:
Experience Required:
-Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
-3 years of progressive experience in Finance, Analytics, Process Improvement, or a related function
-Demonstrated ability to translate business and finance requirements into analytical, data-driven, or automated solutions
-Comfort working with large, complex datasets and navigating enterprise data environments
Experience Preferred:
· Strong working knowledge of core finance and accounting processes (e.g., P&L, budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, reporting, controls)
· Hands-on experience with modern analytics and automation tools, such as:
o Alteryx (strongly preferred) or similar no-code/low-code automation platforms
o Power BI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or similar for data visualization and self-service analytics
o Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms , including querying and understanding data structures
o Smartsheet or comparable workflow/project management tools
· Fluent in Spanish is a plus
· Hospitality and/or shared services experience is a plus

The salary range for this position is $ $78,500 ,000 to $105,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards and an annual bonus.
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
