Overview:
The Enterprise Applications Solution Architect is a system expert with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA and its integration with ancillary systems. This position sets and manages the organization's Enterprise Application landscape in alignment with required business transformations. The Enterprise Applications Solution Architect have specialized knowledge of emerging technology and therefore can create and execute an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve complex business objectives. The main role of the Architect is to evaluate all business requirements and come up with solutions that provide an integrated approach for SAP customers. This role serves as the architectural authority for defining, documenting, and implementing scalable, secure, and compliant interfaces between SAP and enterprise platforms, ensuring alignment with business strategy, SOX controls, and digital transformation initiatives.?
Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Play a significant role in the definition and implementation of an over-arching application strategy, including architecture, design, and roadmaps.
Ensure the optimum utilization of existing system platforms and their integration while considering and facilitating the justified deployment of new technologies in response to business requirements
Craft adaptable, comprehensive, and feasible solutions by creating necessary blueprint documents for functional requirements and technical specifications.
Design functional solutions to solve business problems and needs.
Ensure agreement on design with process owners. Review and participate in solution build and test activities on Enterprise Application implementations, rollouts, or upgrade projects.
Operate as solution architect simultaneously across several projects that are in progress.
Review and revise current standards to ensure best practice while ensuring architecture diagrams are current.
Serve as the conduit between businesses and technology.
Review design recommendations to ensure quality and consistency across the application landscape
Review SAP and Other Applications such as SAP Concur, UKG, IBM Maximo and other ancillary platforms functional specifications to ensure quality solutions are proposed and not duplicating existing functionality.
Perform fit-gap analysis via discovery by engaging with business units and other SAP CoE team members
Advise on solution roadmap for SAP projects while considering current application landscape. Conduct comparative research and recommend strategies relating to emerging technologies
Collaborate with peers in the CoE to apply best practices to integrate between SAP applications
Provide recommendations supportive of a shared-service model and long-term organization strategy for enterprise level applications, architecture, upgrades, interfaces, and enhancements
Research, identify, select, and test technology products in support of applications and systems development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility
Provide recommendations based on long-term development organization strategy and develop enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions, and features
Provide architectural expertise and technical assistance to software developers
Lead product market research, analysis of alternative (AoA) software, business case, demonstration, installation, development, implementation, deployment, and sustainment of new applications
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP/UKG/Concur administrators, developers, functional analyst, and configuration analyst
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, and proactively recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness
Share knowledge and expertise through training and documentation
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment where innovation as well as continuous learning and improvements are encouraged
Qualifications:
Education/Certifications
Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with a minimum of 10 years professional experience OR associate degree with a minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR High School diploma with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience
Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 10 years of related work experience, and minimum seven years of SAP development and implementation experience
Stated experience must include at least 10 years of experience in the following: SAP ECC 6.0 integration across FI, CO, PS, MM, and SD; BW; IT/SAP project methodologies and change control processes; Project Systems Configuration and Development; Implementation of custom solutions leveraging Business Add Ins (BADI), Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI), Custom modifications (CMOD), and Business Transaction Event (BTE)
Experience as an Enterprise-level solution architect
Experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes
Deep understanding of requirements analysis, design, and system architecture of SAP S/4 HANA and RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms and Workflows) development/integration
Experience with Agile software development methodologies
Expertise with multi-tiered application architectures, including SAP, and legacy systems modernization
Experience with systems development, systems integration, application design and/or legacy
Experience implementing or migrating to Cloud Service Provider (CSP) environments
Proficient authoring and presenting program solution documents
High levels of energy and enthusiasm with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
Worked on a cross-functional team; awareness of business priorities and organizational dynamics
Ability to work with global teams, act independently and as part of a team
Open-minded to new perspectives or ideas or unusual solutions when appropriate
Communicates in a clear and succinct manner
Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements

The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
USD $ 130,000 - $205,000
Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
