As a Security Officer - Retail Patrols Full-Time in Dolton, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with the public, offer exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $16.80 / Hour

Wed03:30 PM - 11:15 PM

Thur03:30 PM - 11:15 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 11:15 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for unusual circumstances.

Observe and report any suspicious behaviors, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying authorized individuals, and maintaining order within the premises.

Collaborate with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a positive environment for employees and customers.

Complete required documentation and security-related reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
