Position Summary

(U) Security Support (Physical, Personnel, Special, SAP and Industrial Security)provides Physical, Personnel, Special, Special Access Program(SAP) and Industrial Security specialists to assist, monitor, and advise on all aspects of securityactivities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

(U)

Plan and assist in implementation of security activities at the Top-Secretand higher classification to ensure USSOCOM personnel (Military, Civilians, and Contractors)and all supported tenant organizations are prepared to operate in non-traditional environmentsto perform critical contingency tasks.

Personnel performing these functions develop written technical approaches and methodologies regarding security proposals.

Requirements

(U)

Minimum of six (6) years Physical, Personnel and Special Security experiencewithin the DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with operational levelexperience preferred.

Extensive experience in compartmented programs in DoD, U.S. Intelligence community, or supporting U.S. Contractors to include PSIP, Access control, ACCM, and SAP/STO process.

Extensive experience in compartmented programs integration and effects planning into the Joint or service-specific mission process.

Extensive experience supporting SCIF planning and accreditation, recertification processes and procedures and familiar with the SCIF construction process as per the ICD 705 standard with Special Access Facility Accrediting Official Course Desired.

Must be capable of planning, structuring, and leading security training support for other security professionals.

Firsthand experience with Foreign Disclosure Officer and Foreign Disclosure Representative actions and procedures.

Experience with personnel background investigations for collateral and special security clearance actions including:

Formulating and ensuring compliance with automated information systems security procedures.

Suggesting, implementing, and monitoring compliance with special securitypolicies and procedures.

Conducting and coordinating the training for special security representatives

Performing as a liaison with Government and industrial security officialsoverseeing collateral and higher access and badge procedures.

Position requires experience in compartmented programs in the DoD, U.S.Intelligence Community or supporting U.S. Contractors.

Experience in security training or security inspections is highly desirable.

Experience briefing personnel on security practices, concepts, and programs.

Skilledin applying good judgment to resolve security issues.

Must have a working knowledge of security policies and procedures to include eitherNational Industrial Security Program Supplement, DoD 5200.01 Volume 1-3, DoD5200.02, or DoD 5105.21 Volumes 1-3.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80500 to $149500 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
