Description

We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our client near Red Lion, PA. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting critical accounting operations. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment and ensure the smooth functioning of essential accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

Reconcile accounts receivable and outstanding purchase orders to ensure proper financial tracking.

Conduct month-end close activities, including trial balance preparation and financial reporting.

Create detailed month-end reports to support business decision-making.

Review and maintain the general ledger for accuracy and completeness.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Assist in preparing financial statements and other required reports.

Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in financial data.

Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting operations and improve efficiency.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounting, with a strong focus on journal entries and general ledger management.

Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and purchase order reconciliation.

Expertise in conducting month-end close activities, including preparing financial reports.

Ability to prepare and analyze trial balances and ensure accuracy in financial data.

Proficiency in financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to handle complex reconciliations.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
